When a user has a fully opened calendar item via OWA any URLs within that item are not usable, when clicking URL nothing happens. The URLs are blue but they seem to contain no http addresses and are thus not usable. Now if the user views the same calendar item via the Preview Pane the URLs work just fine. Mail items opened fully are not affected, just calendar items.
I have tried multiple versions of IE and I have reduced all security setting in IE thinking it may be a security issue but alas I cannot click a link from a fully opened OWA calendar item. I’m fairly confident this issue is not releated to IE.

Regarding the issue, I would like to know when the issue occurs, whether does the meeting organizer attempt to open the meeting entry in OWA? If I am right, I would like to explain that it is by design and I am able to reproduce your issue.
I would like to explain that in OWA, when opening an appointment or a meeting request, the form that you use determines if hyperlinks are active.
Using OWA, as the organizer, the edit form does not allow the execution of hyperlinks. Hyperlinks will appear as plain text.
As a recipient of a meeting request, the meeting request itself will open in a “read-only” form that only allows the modification of the reminder. The read-only form allows the execution of hyperlinks in OWA

That seems like a known problem – it’s also happening here.
One reference I saw said to update your blackberry server. As I’m not a blackberry user, I have a hard time beleiving this.

Based on current situation, would you please let me know?
1. Whether you use Meeting Organizer to view the Calendar Item in OWA? If yes, I would like to explain that it is normal behavior as I described in my previous post.
2. If the issue also occurs when the meeting recipient attempts to open the Calendar Item in OWA, would you please let me know whether the calendar item is tentatively in Calendar folder or the recipient has accepted the meeting?
3. If you create a new user with no BlackBerry enabled in the organization, whether the issue can be reproduced?

Yes to question one. The dead URL effect is only observed for the Meeting organizer. This may be normal behavior as you describe but it certainly reduces functionality of OWA and Live Meeting.
For our organization we have boardrooms each with a Round Table device and a single workstation. s has been instructed to arrange their meetings outside of the boardroom using Outlook full on their personal computers. Before the meeting starts they enter the boardroom and use the boardroom computer, open OWA and launch their Live Meetings. I see no way for a meeting organizer to launch his LM with one click unless he uses Outlook full or OWA Calendar with preview pane turned on.
Your questions 2 and 3 are no longer relevant as we stop on question 1.

I can fully understand the inconvenience which you have experienced. In fact, in our internal database, I have also noticed that the several customers encounter similar issue and a product issue has been submitted to our product team. Nevertheless, the request is rejected as there are viable workaround as Yergg indicated in another thread.
